Rome y Julieta Wide Churchill

I’m very excited each year about all of the new cigars that come out of Cuba and the new addition to the Romeo y Julieta will be this year’s new Wide Churchill.  This year I’ve been leaning heavily towards the Romeo Churchill as being one of my “go to” cigars.  No word of a lie, I sometimes smoke 2 a day, day after day and I can’t get enough of them.

The robusto format is also a cigar I love, whether it’s from Cohiba, Partagas or Hoyo do Monterrey.  There’s something about that ring gauge that gives you a mellow smoke that is loaded with complexity.  Also too I believe that the Robusto size is a bit more controllable when rolling.  It isn’t as long or thin as many other cigars and the draw issues don’t seem to be as challenging.

The wide churchill from Romeo will be a very manly 55 ring gauge and that should give the blenders at the factory the opportunity to include leaves that will give us, the consumer, a new spin on the Romeo profile.  Bring ‘em on!!!!!!!!
