Trinidad Cigars And Golf

Today will be another day on the golf course… I have a few new sleeves of new balls, went to the range yesterday and I have some small bills on the off chance I lose the “closest to the pin” competitions… The guys I usually golf with always find ways to include wagering and drinking with their golf games but I’m not going to let anyone get the better of me in my eternal quest to lower that score…

I’m thinking that today will be a day to smoke a Trinidad  Robusto Extra.  This is the kind of cigar that will last a few holes because of it’s size, but I’ll be pulling one out of the humidor because we’ve seen a few dry days here in Vancouver and the punched greens have had almost a month to get into good shape where we’re going.  Another thing in Vancouver is that because we get a lot of rain in the spring, we golfers who love riding in power carts are often restricted to driving on “cart paths only”, but not today… I’ve already checked that out and nothing will be stopping us from having a great day….

Almost…………..

We have wind today……… Aaaaaaaarrrrrrgghhh!!!!! Now I don’t mind wind when I’m on the course but the one thing that makes me crazy is wind when I’m smoking a cigar!!!!!!!!  That will definitely change everything……

Wish me luck!
